Education
Angela has been worked with many educational programs across the State. She has served on the planning team and is a Co-Chair of a statewide network preparing legislative issues for The Keiki Caucus. If elected, she'll continue fighting for the issues youth care about: menstrual equity, bullying, mental health, access to resources, financial literacy for youth, environment, transportation and so much more. Over the years, Angela has debated for legislations to help teachers build affordable workforce housing and to improve the quality of education at Department of Education in Hawaii.

Music & Film
The creative industries is an important focus for economic development here in Hawaii. Music & film create higher skilled jobs for students and for working class families. The industry provides opportunities for careers in design, media, broadcast, journalism, sound engineer, event coordination, stage management, fashion, teaching and so much more. Policymakers & stakeholders need to focus resources on development of infrastructure in the entertainment industry to build studios, to keep our production teams busy and to create opportunities for collaboration so we can sustain active productions in the State.

Agriculture & Economic Development
People in Hawaii love to eat! And who doesn't love a good farmer's market? Economic development should enhance opportunities for our families and provide jobs & markets the people of Hawaii actually love doing such as cooking, eating & growing food. Working with Hawaii's agriculture industry, we can create sustainable jobs in food, restaurant, hospitality & hotel industries while supporting local farmers, encouraging small business to work together, improving the quality of nutrition & access to fresh produce while producing more locally grown foods.

Public safety, crime & homelessness
Public safety, crime & homelessness are concerns Angela is not afraid to tackle. With collaboration with Citizens Patrols & Neighborhood Security Watches across the State covering districts from Waianae to Kapalama, Angela has worked with many teams to organize walks led by gangsters & ex-convicts who have been formerly convicted. They have turned their lives around and now are faithful believers of Jesus. Angela helps neighbors to be equipped with the tools needed to respond to emergencies because the key to addressing public safety concerns is when neighbors are alert and know the correct procedures about who to contact and how to respond.

Animal Rights
Building cat sanctuaries for kitties and investing in resources to fund the cat community's efforts in Trap & Neuter is an effective strategy to manage the concerns of the feral cat population crisis in Hawaii. To protect the indigenous species and to mitigate against harmful environmental impact, a plan for cat sanctuaries in coordination with nonprofits & businesses will help with alleviating the burden upon the State.
